These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between Mini Dolphins Swim School ("we", "our", "the school") and the parent/guardian ("you") of any swimmer enrolled in our lessons. By enrolling your child, you accept these terms.
Enrolment & Fees
- Lessons must be booked and paid for in advance to secure a place.
- Payments are non-refundable except where stated below.
- Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellations & Refunds
- If the school cancels a lesson (e.g. due to pool closure, instructor illness), we will offer a replacement class or a credit.
- Refunds are not given for missed lessons due to holidays, illness, or other commitments.
- Long-term absence (e.g. medical reasons) may be considered for partial credit at the school's discretion, with a doctor's note.
Attendance & Punctuality
- Please ensure your child arrives on time, ready to swim.
- Lessons cannot be extended for late arrivals.
- If your child cannot attend, please notify us in advance (though refunds/credits will not apply we may be able to offer an alternative lesson at our discretion and subject to availability).
Health & Safety
- You must inform us of any medical conditions or special needs when enrolling and update us of any changes during your subscription period.
- Children must be fit and well enough to participate in lessons.
- We reserve the right to refuse entry if we believe a swimmer is unfit or poses a health risk.
- All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear and follow pool safety rules.
Supervision & Responsibility
- Parents/guardians are responsible for children before and after lessons.
- Young children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times outside of the pool.
- The school is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
Instructors & Class Management
- We reserve the right to change instructors or class times when necessary.
- Group sizes may vary depending on pool availability and safety ratios.
- Progression to the next level is at the discretion of the instructor.
Liability & Insurance
- Mini Dolphins Swim School holds public liability insurance.
- We accept no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or loss of property unless caused by our negligence.
Photography & Safeguarding
- For safeguarding reasons, photography and filming during lessons are not permitted without prior consent.
- The school may occasionally take photos/videos for training or promotional use – we will always seek your consent first.
- We are committed to safeguarding and child protection. All concerns will be taken seriously.
Code of Conduct
- Respectful behaviour is expected from swimmers and parents.
- Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from lessons without refund.
- Please respect instructors, staff, and other swimmers at all times.
Data Protection
- We collect and store personal information (contact details, medical information) solely for lesson administration and safety.
- Your details will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.
Changes to Terms
- Mini Dolphins Swim School reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions.
- Updated terms will be communicated via email or our website and will apply from the stated date.
